EVENT CANCELLATION NOTICE (13 MARCH 2020)
In view of the additional precautionary measures to prevent further importation and spread of COVID-19 cases by the Singapore Government on 13 March 2020, and the World Health Organization’s (WHO) declaration of COVID-19 as a global pandemic, the Singapore Badminton Open 2020, which is scheduled to be held from 7-12 April 2020 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, will be cancelled.
The organisers of Singapore Badminton Open 2020 have been in close communication with the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and this decision of cancellation has been made in consultation with them.
The latest advisory released by the Ministry of Health Singapore (13 March 2020) advised “All ticketed cultural, sports and entertainment events, with 250 participants or more, are to be deferred or cancelled.”
We would like to thank all the participating patrons, players and associations for their continuous support and love for badminton and we look forward to a more exciting Singapore Badminton Open 2021. Stay tuned to our FaceBook page and website for more news and updates.
Refund Details
Customers who have purchased tickets will receive full refund. Refunds are through the following methods:
1) Payment by credit card (except SingPost transactions) – refund will be automatically credited to the same credit card used for the transaction. It will take 14 business days for credit card refund to be processed.
2) Payment by cash / NETS and SingPost transactions – customers are to proceed to the box office at Kallang Wave Mall located in Singapore Sports Hub with their physical tickets and photo ID at the address below between 23 March 2020 to 5 April 2020 for cash refund:

Monday – Saturday from 10am to 8pm
Sundays and Public Holidays, 12pm to 8pm.
