Skills Test (By Invitation Only)

  • When: Saturday 2nd December 2023
  • Location: Singapore Sport School
  • Time: Group 1 – 6pm to 7.30pm, Group 2 – 7.30pm to 9pm

 

BWF Level 1/ CoachSG Full Integration Level 1 Course (NICA subsidy available)

SBA organises the BWF Level 1/ Sg-coach Full Integration Level 1 course and BWF Level 2 Course.

SBA aims to conduct 4 intakes of Level 1 courses in 2024, with the successful completion of 3 intakes in 2023. Upcoming intakes as listed below.

 National Instructors & Coaches Association (NICA) was formed by the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) to be the collective voice to support freelance coaches and instructors from sports, outdoor learning and adventure, visual and performing arts, fitness and wellness, and enrichment, to strengthen skills, standards and opportunities.

In supporting NICA members with skills deepening programmes such as the courses offer by Singapore Badminton Association (SBA), NICA members enjoy lower course fees through the Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) which provides 50% subsidy of the balance unfunded course fee, up to $250 or $500 per calendar year (for NICA/NTUC union members aged 40 and above).
