About the AirShuttle
The official AirShuttle from BWF, with increased resistance to wind. The Airshuttle, specially designed for AirBadminton, is suitable for outdoor badminton on parks, beaches or other outdoor locations. The Airshuttle assumes that it is possible to play up to a wind speed of approximately 12 km per hour.
The recommended string tension for AirBadminton is 18 – 20 lbs (9kg), because the AirShuttle is 3g heavier than traditional feather or plastic shuttlecocks.
We would recommend that a lower tension should be used, and also for users to consider using thicker strings with AirShuttles. Usually the thicker the string, the less likely it is to break.
